How to use
Preparation
Thoroughly cleanse skin with fresh, luke warm water and pat dry with a clean towel.
Application
Warm 4-5 drops in palms and gently apply to face, neck and chest.
Ritual
A.M: For best absorption, apply directly onto cleansed skin. It's best to layer after serums and before cream products and moisturizers.
P.M: For extra hydration, apply after moisturizer to lock in moisture. Perfectly paired with a gua sha or face cups

Our top priorities when creating our Antioxidant Barrier Oil was ensuring:
1. zero pore clogging ingredients. Unfortunately, a lot of products on the market force you to compromise. Natural and youth preserving face oils are often filled with pore cloggers, while acne-safe products usually have harsh ingredients that dry and age the skin.
2. That it was multi-functional and had the ability to layer. Most face oils can only be used as the last step in your skincare routine, ours is formulated to be able to be applied directly onto cleansed skin for maximum absorption AND as final step to lock in extra hydration from your moisturizer (or use with a gua sha)!
We didn't want to compromise and we shouldn't have to. We wanted a silky, luxurious face oil that nourishes, brightens and preserves youth AND is acne safe. So we created it.
YES! This face oil is formulated with ZERO pore clogging ingredients, so it is safe to use on acne prone skin. Acne prone and oily skin types actually benefit from using therightoils. Our barrier oil has an abundance of essential fatty acids and linoleic acid, which arecriticalfor healthy functioning skin and a strong skin barrier. Unlike most face oils that can only be applied as the last step of your routine, Antioxidant barrier oil is able to mix really well with other products, allowing you to layer. We recommend applying our oil either on freshly cleaned skin or after water based serums, to allow it to absorb deep into the skin for optimal results. Follow with moisturizer.
If looking for extra hydration, mix a few drops with your moisturizer, or you can absolutely use as the final step to really lock in hydration.

This barrier oil is hands down my favorite part of my skincare routine. I have very sensitive, allergy-prone skin, so introducing new products can be intimidating, but this one has been nothing but amazing. I’ve been using Aven’s barrier oil for a few weeks now, and I honestly can’t believe the difference in my skin. Everything feels more hydrated, smoother, and I’ve noticed a serious glow. Cannot say enough good things about this product. Over the course of my skincare journey, I've tried probably 30 different serums on my face, and when this one goes on, every single thing about it (from its texture to its smell to its glow) screams pure goodness. I honestly also put this on under my make-up sometimes because it helps blend it into something dewy and smooth (instead of dry and cakey). Completely obsessed, will never stop using.
